Wonder Wander
Wonder Wander

I cannot perceive the eve of my passing,
But in passing through each mellow eve,
I see my life as it steadily passes:
Moonlit, smiling, unkempt, and believed.
I cannot wander without wondering each day,
How a day without wandering could pass,
When so much wonder to wander yet binds
Like chains made of stale, corporate brass.
I cannot fathom a life swum so shallow,
When in fathoms light preciously swims,
Tracing starlight from the unfathomed,
To new eyes that when open light brims.
Passing perceptions will wander,
Through circuitous nooks of our minds.
Carving deep fathoms so gently,
As we wonder when that shall we find.
